Natural gas is received from Mid-American Energy, high-speed internet service, local telephone and cell-phone service is received from Central Scott Telephone ( www.centralscott.com or 563- 285-9611) and cable television is received from MediaCom. Garbage Service Allied Waste collects garbage and recycables on Thursdays. Long Grove provides bi-weekly recycling. Recyclables and garbage must be to the curb by 7:00 a.m. The City provides a recycling bin. The City of Long Grove has a spring and fall clean-up day. Grass and leaves are picked up on Tuesday if placed at the curb by 8:00 a.m. in City of Long Grove waste bags. They may be purchased from City Hall .
